Portfolio Information and Requirements

In order to submit a portfolio, you must have completed Arch/Larch 200 and Arch 202 or Larch 151. Additionally, Architecture applicants must have completed (by the end of summer quarter 2007) Math 117 (or 152) and Physics 111. Landscape Architecture applicants must have completed Geology 121.

Minors / CRP

In addition to degrees in Architecture and Landscape Architecture, the KSA also offers a minor in City and Regional Planning. For more information about this program, interested students should download this PDF overview.

Honors

Honors students who meet the following criteria are guaranteed admission to their major:

  • Complete Architecture / Landscape Architecture 200 with a grade of B+ or higher
  • Complete Architecture 202 / Lanscape Architecture 151 with a grade of B+ or higher
  • Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher during the first year (GPA is evaluated at the end of the first year)
  • Complete all necessary prerequisites (Math, Physics or Geology)
  • Submit a portfolio by the appropriate deadline

These criteria apply only to new, first quarter freshmen that have been admitted to The Ohio State University Honors program as a pre-Architecture or pre-Landscape Architecture student for Autumn Quarter.
