Who can use the Fab Lab?

The KSA Digital Fabrication Laboratory is available for use by the students, faculty and staff of the Knowlton School of Architecture. We evaluate opportunities to collaborate with other campus organizations on an individual basis.

What does the Fab Lab offer?

The fab lab includes several pieces of digital fabrication equipment, including laser cutters, CNC mills, rapid prototypers, and 3D digitizers. More information about each type of process we offer can be found using the submenu above.

What hours is the Fab Lab open? Can I use the lab after the shop has closed?

The Fab Lab is open during regular shop hours, which can be found on our Hours page.

After-hours access to the Fab Lab is granted solely by the Shop Coordinator. It is generally not advisable to use the fab lab after the shop has closed, principally because sleep deprivation can cause a serious lack of judgement.
