How to Print to the HP 1055 Plotter using:
(36" Color Plotter)
Macromedia Freehand
* Documents from this program should not be plotted on
the HP 430 (24" roll) Plotter *
Step 1: Select "File" and
then select "Print" from the drop down menu in the
top tool bar menu. You should then see a print dialog box like the
one shown in Figure A.
Step 2: Once here, click the drop down menu and
select \\khprint\kh 448-1 HP1055 PS.
Step 3: Select "Properties" and
you should get a screen that looks like (Figure B).

Step 4: After selecting the orientation of your
job, select the "Advance..." tab.

| Step 5: First select your page size using the Arch
style sheets. If you look toward the bottom of the window
(Figure C) you will see a rotate option. If your image is smaller
than Arch E size (36x48), select Rotate True. If it is Arch E,
select false. |

Step 6: Hit "OK" until back to
the Print Screen (Figure A). Then click the PPD box.
Step 7: In this menu (Figure D), you will select
HP_1055_Plotter.ppd.

Step 8: Then you will need to click the "Open" button.
This will bring you back to the Print Screen (Figure A). From here,
select the "Advance" tab and you should now see
the image below. (Figure E)
Step 9: Now that you are here, select the "Paper
Setup" tab in the upper right corner of Figure E.

| Step 10: In the paper size drop down
menu, select the appropriate size of your document (Figure F). Remember
the plotter will only print Arch A through Arch E. You will then
see your document in the preview screen. If the image looks ok, select "OK".
This will bring you back to the Print Screen (Figure A) again. Hit "OK" one
last time and swipe your BuckID at the Pharos pay-station to release
your print. |
